Chris Kovarik wins the Redbull Psychosis 2008

Chain Reaction Cycles / Intense rider Chris Kovarik just took a very impressive win the weekend before last at what is described as the 'Worlds most demented Downhill race' the Redbull Psychosis in Golden BC, Canada.
The event began in 1998 for locals by a local, the annual Mount 7 Psychosis has evolved into the steepest, longest, fastest downhill mountain bike race in the world. It has a drop of over 4000' vertical feet, in a course-record time of under 13 hella fast minutes. To be there for the one weekend in the year when a couple hundred people show up to ride it as fast as they can is something else.
Chris not only took the win but beat the course record in doing so setting a new fastest time of 12m35s and winning the $5000 first place purse.
